At Zakimijo Castle, you can dress in the
Ryukyu costumes of the time!

Zakimijo Castle is a world heritage site where you can dress in costumes from the Ryukyu era. You can dress as a member of the Princess class or other high ranking members of the Ryukyu era society.
You can take your own photos or have a professional photographer take them. If you choose to have the professional photos taken, it is really a fun experience. You get to feel like a model and make the experience even more memorable.

Off the coast of Yomitan in Okinawa is one of Japan’s wildest and most vast seas.
Fishing here is an exciting adventure. You start early in the morning to accompany the fisherman. Once you see all the fish bouncing around in the net you will become even more excited.
You can see whale, sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, tuna and skipjack.
After finishing helping with the fishing chores, you are rewarded with a meal of fresh sashimi.

Let’s ride at Yonaguni Horse Farm!

Yonaguni Horse farm is located at Nanjo City on the South Island of Okinawa
At the farm, you can pet rare horses and goats. Or for a bigger adventure, especially recommended is the Yonaguni farm horseback ride.
During the summer, you can ride your horse on the seashore and even stop to take a dip. The horses are gentle and friendly so it is fun for all ages. However, horse-back riders must weigh 165 lbs or less.

Ryukyu glass village in Okinawa

Ryukyu glass village in on the Okinawa southern island of Itoman.
Here you can experience the Okinawa traditional craft of Ryukyu glass blowing. An original glass-making experience is just 5 minutes. You can actually blow glass. Creating an original piece of glass yourself is a very exciting and fulfilling experience.
This original shop is the only one in the world. Being here will surely create lasting memories.

Experience Okinawa children’s world!
Pay attention to all the sparkling eyes!

Okinawa children’s world is a Zoo, a museum and a children’s center in one building complex. Filled with flowers and greenery everywhere. You can enjoy yonagniuma and saishuba and horseback riding. It is a popular picnic spot.
You can give a rabbit and Guinea pig and even a goat some food and a hug.
Take note and enjoy all the children’s sparkling eyes and smiles.

This Okinawa experience will make you sweat!

If you want a real Okinawa cultural experience you can cut sugar cane and make black sugar.
Peeling and tasting just harvested sugar cane quickly spreads sweetness throughout your mouth. The squeezed out juice can also be made into brown sugar that has a different taste.

SHURI Ryukyu bingata experience!

One of the original dyes used around the world was in SHURI. The bingata method uses fossilized coral to create a dye that was used on hemp fabric.
This experience lets you express your individuality and sense of fashion.
On the first floor, you can purchase Bingata coasters. They even have coral dyed Chou and applesauce for sale.

Experience what it was like living
in a native Okinawan village!

Reproduction of a village in Okinawa in the 17th-19th century is shown here in this Nahua village.
Soon after entering a splendid red-tiled gate you will see ajitude’s house.
From 10 am until 4 pm, they have music, dance, and old time games, to let you experience what life was like in Okinawa during the Ryukyu Kingdom era.

A Ryukyuan village packed with Okinawa’s

Ryukyu village is lined with old houses that are registered as cultural property of the country. You can enjoy Ceaser making because there are 30 different courses you can experience, such as the 3-wire experience. Choose what you like and enjoy the culture of Okinawa.
