Diver City Tokyo Plaza is now considered a Tokyo landmark!

From Shinbashi station catch the Yurikamome line train to the Daiba station. Exit the South exit and it is a 5-minute walk to Diver City Tokyo Plaza(ダイバーシティー東京 プラザ). It is next door to the Fuji Television Network Inc. building(フジテレビ). This “urban theater” focuses on fashion, gourmet food, and entertainment. It opened in 2012 and is now considered a landmark of Odaiba. With its 54 foot high full-sized “Gundam statue” it is a famous tourist spot. It is a place of happy shoppers, music and anime fans!

Diver City Tokyo Plaza is an 8-story building lined with over 150 stores. It is filled with fashion-conscious young people, gourmet shops and grocery store food. There are even two “dollar shops.”You can also enjoy “the “Round one Stadium,” a full-scale ice skating park, “H.L.N.A Sky garden,” and a live music Club “Zepp Divercitk Tokyo.” It is an open and spacious facility as that is a fun place to be with family and friends.

The Divers City Tokyo Plaza 2nd floor is a great place for souvenirs. Specifically the “Gift Shop-Daiba” is recommended. Other famous spots include “Calbee Plus” (they feature Calbee Foods like their freshly made potato chips and french fries), “Glico Ya ” that features Glico brand merchandise, and the Sanrio brand shop that features “Hello Kitty Japan” items. On the same floor there is the Tokyo Gourmet Stadium food court with 700 seats. Where you can rest from shopping and get something to eat.

There is a Life-size Gundam statue!

The full scale “Gundam statue” on the South side of the Plaza, in the 2nd floor Festival Square is 54 feet in height and is a landmark of Odaiba. It is usually a crowded area but makes a great place to take a photo. Also on the 2nd floor is the “Gundam Front Tokyo” shop, where you can experience the Gundam world. On the 7th floor there is a giant dome where you can enjoy a full computer graphic show, the 1 / 1 core fighter pay zone, and the free zone official souvenir shop and café bar.
